Community Service
Keep Rowlett Beautiful helps people complete Court-appointed community service hours by appointment only.
Important things to know:
KRB handles the following minor offenses: traffic violations, curfew violations, minor in possession/consumption of alcohol or tobacco products, truancy, etc.
KRB does not take the following offenses: assault, battery, theft/burglary, or similar felony charges.
Court-appointed community service hours offered will consist of trash pickup at KRB approved site(s).
You will need a phone capable of sending pictures by text messaging to: 972-998-5924 or email at info@keeprowlettbeautiful.org .
5. The following is required to be completed prior to collecting equipment and receipt of site location for clean-up.
i) Community Service Documents (accessed through the BLUE BUTTON) will need to be read, signed and returned by text message to 972-998-5924 or email at info@keeprowlettbeautiful.org . All required documents must be completed before receiving supplies and starting work.
ii) A $20 deposit is required via Zelle at 972-998-5924 β See Deposit or Donate button. The deposit will be returned after completion of Community Service and return of equipment (vest/grabber).
iii) KRB will provide supplies like trash bags, litter grabbers, gloves, and safety vests for trash pickup at:
Rowlett Development Services Building
5702 Rowlett Rd., Rowlett, TX 75089
Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
iv) The KRB Executive Director will provide location of trash pickup. Detailed instructions will be found in the Community Service Documents.
v) After completing the service and returning the equipment, your deposit will be refunded. Send text with picture confirming return of equipment to 972-998-5924.
7. Those under 18, a legal guardian must accompany you to sign necessary documents before starting community service.
8. Those under 16 need permission from a legal guardian AND must be accompanied by an adult during service hours.
9. You are responsible for your transportation; KRB does not provide transportation to cleanup sites.
11. If you do not follow KRB rules or do anything outside the approved plan, you may not receive credit for your service hours, at the discretion of the Executive Director.
12. You can work at your own pace to complete your required hours.
13. Walk-ins for court-appointed community service are not accepted. Scheduling is by appointment only.
14. KRB reserves the right to refuse any offender or community service worker for any reason, as decided by the Executive Director.
